FRENGKY (FRANK) CHANIADI
Frank is the Founder, Managing Partner and Director of KNIGHTSBRIDGE INTEGRATED SOLUTION PTE. LTD. ("KBIS"). Since the formation, he has been responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to its core investment philosophy; communicating closely with clients concerning value-creative projects/portfolios and strategies; and contributing his experience to big-picture decisions relating to investments and corporate direction. He travels frequently from North America to the Middle East/North Africa to Asia Pacific, working extensively with large companies on infrastructure project finance, venture capital, recapitalizations, M&As and corporate finance deals. His focused areas of investment include oil & gas, mineral resources, power & utilities and renewable energy.
Frank is a seasoned Executive with global experiences of industries' leadership and senior consulting management positions with P&L ownerships at ENERPROGROUP LLC, Deloitte Consulting LLP (Power and Utilities Industry Services), Centrica PLC/Energy America/Direct Energy/British Gas (LON: CNA), Barclays Bank PLC (NYSE: BCS), PT. Diners Jaya Indonesia International (CITIGROUP/DFS) and SC Johnson & Son Australia PTY. LTD. He is a serial entrepreneur and has seed and venture funded companies in the North American' oil & gas and Southeast Asian-based power technologies, energy renewables and infrastructure projects.
Frank holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (Strategy) from Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, UK, an MBA (Finance) from Durham University, UK and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management Science and Quantitative Methods) from The University of Western Sydney, Australia.
ADITYA BHUGTIAR
Aditya is the Founder, Director and Managing Partner of KNIGHTSBRIDGE INTEGRATED SOLUTION PTE. LTD. ("KBIS"). He has considerable experience in assessing financing structures both from a debt and equity perspective with an extensive network of Banks that he works with in Asia and the UK to provide tailored funding solutions for clients.
Most recently, Aditya was the Managing Director of Macallan Capital, which provided clients with funding solutions for working capital, trade finance, expansion capital and M&A activity in the Asia region. Principal funding instruments used are debt, equity and hybrid based instruments. The Company makes full and extensive use of Banking networks, Private Equity, Hedge fund and HNWI relationships to tailor possible placement of the above instruments. The company is currently working on financing projects in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Vietnam. Size of transactions worked on range from USD10 million to USD750 million. For larger transactions the Company will use its extensive contacts to arrange a syndicate of funding banks.
Prior to that, Aditya was with Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and ABN AMRO – Structured Asset Marketing, Asia where he was responsible for assessing clients’ investment needs, marketing and direct selling of Structured Assets to financial institution clients in Asia comprising FX, Interest rate, Credit, Fund Linked Product, Commodities, Hybrids and Tax instruments.
Aditya has also worked with DBS - Central Treasury Unit “CTU” and Structured Finance, Singapore & HK. He was tasked to manage the Bank’s excess liquidity by investing in a broad spectrum of assets. CTU looks at both asset and liability solutions for the Bank.
Aditya holds a BA Economics and Accounting (Hons) and is a former member of the ISDA Asia Pacific Legal and Regulatory Committee and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a former member of the Audit Committee for Sentosa Development Corporation.
JACQUELINE RACHELLE YEE
As Senior Manager of Investment, Jacqueline is an investment banker with over twenty years international experience in advisory, principal investment and structured finance focusing on M&A, Privatization, and Restructuring. She has a wide network of global contacts and a track record in complex cross-border transactions spanning over a dozen countries across EMEA, US, and APAC.
She has advised and financed corporates, institutions, government entities; with experience in conventional debt-equity spectrum, alternative investment, and off-balance sheet and monetization structures. Jacqueline has also executed structured equity principal trades; developed bespoke mezzanine & convertible equity tranches; worked on capital market corporate & infrastructure bonds, and special situations investment funds.
Prior to joining KBIS, Jacqueline was Managing Director of Macallan Capital for Europe and US. Previously, she was Director at Fortis Corporate & Investment Banking in UK and Netherlands; where she spearheaded expertise in London in Advisory & Alternative Investments focusing on global M&A and Restructuring, and in Corporate Structured Solutions in Netherlands. Prior to that, she was with Paladin Australia – Infrastructure Advisory & Investment Group, and Bankers Trust Alex. Brown Australia – Advisory & Structured Finance; with responsibilities in origination and execution of landmark M&A investment, restructuring recapitalization and privatization deals. Preceding investment banking, Jacqueline worked at Ernst & Young in NZ and HK, initially in Assurance then in M&A, and was Head of Special Reviews; her work included equity valuations, restructuring, insolvency, risk advisory, and involvement in national government policy work.
Jacqueline is a former Board Member of CWN London and Chair of the Business Committee
Jacqueline holds a Master in International Finance (Distinction), graduating summa cum laude from the University of Amsterdam Graduate Business School and Faculty of Economics & Econometrics; and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Finance, and Management Science, graduating cum laude with distinction in Commercial Law from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. She is a C.A. member of the NZICA, an ASEAN Scholar, and Jacqueline is multi-lingual in English, Malay-Indonesian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Dutch and reads French.
CHURCHILL K. THOMAS
As Manager of Project Finance, Churchill K. Thomas, has over fourteen years of experience in various fields of finance including international trade finance, corporate & investment banking and venture capital and is well versed with various financing structures both from a debt and equity perspective. He has also been involved in regional economic development and foreign & direct investment activities in Sarawak and the East Coast of Malaysia. At KBIS, he focuses mainly on regional business development and fund raising for clients for working capital, project and trade finance, expansion capital and M&A activity within the Asian region.
Churchill assists clients in the preparation of business proposals and managing financing post approval compliance processes. Providing holistic advice and solutions to inbound investors, identifying opportunities, setting up business operations, securing relevant business approvals, permits and licenses through his relationships with various government agencies. In this later role, he presently sits as Executive Director of Andaman Sea Foods Sdn Bhd, a sea food producer set up in Malaysia, and Finance Director of POSC TI Sdn Bhd, a regional education hub being developed in the East Coast of Malaysia.
Prior to this, Churchill was with EXIM Bank Malaysia, Maybank (Corporate Banking) ASEAM Bankers (ECM, Investment Banking) and Kenanga Investment Bank (Cross Border Unit) – where he was responsible for acquiring new businesses and clients, assessing clients’ funding needs, processing, preparing and presenting credits documents for Structured Trade, Forex, Cash Management, Project Financing, Loan Syndications, Bridge and Share Financing across a broad range of sectors.
He has also worked with Malaysia Venture Capital (Mavcap) and was involved in various seed and expansion equity financing initiatives in the ICT industry. While in Kenanga Investment Bank, he was involved in equity distribution and equity fund raising exercises in Malaysia, Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.
Churchill holds a BSc in Economics in Banking & Finance (Hons) and an MBA (Finance).
MOHAMMAD PRABU GAUTAMA
As Manager of Risk Management, Prabu leads the risk management, portfolio monitoring and conducting due diligence on prospective deal evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, as well as the support of ongoing portfolio company initiatives. business partners and the provision of a technology platform supporting operations and business intelligence.
Prabu was previously the Senior Manager, Corporate System Application/Quality Assurance at PT. Bank Panin Tbk with over fifteen years’ experience in the implementation of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) best practices and supporting the secured and unsecured credit businesses originating and servicing assets. With a background that bridges technical and commercial, Prabu has a history of successfully developing investment and managing strong multi disciplinary teams in the execution of complex IT projects and resource-based M&A transactions.
Prabu earned an MBA (Energy Management) from the Bandung Institute of Technology (School of Business Management - SBM-ITB), Bandung, Indonesia and a Bachelor in Informatics Engineering from Trisakti University, Jakarta, Indonesia.
MEGGIE ZHANG
As an Assistant Manager, Meggie focuses on project financing dealing with modeling, review of documentation and preparation of pitch books. She further handles new business propositions and administration. Meggie has a particular focus on liaising with clients from China on project/transaction specifics guiding clients through the nuances of the South East Asia market whilst maintaining and developing new and existing client relationships.
Prior to joining KBIS, Meggie worked as a commercial manager marketing at Macallan Capital to clients in the US, China and Singapore. Her responsibilities included, client acquisition, retention and competitor analysis and review for market share erosion. She brings this keen sense of awareness about the ever changing landscape to her work.
Meggie holds a BA (Hons) Accounting and Marketing from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. She is fluent in Mandarin and English and conversational Bahasa Indonesia.
