The Advisory Board of KBIS advises management on strategic, financial, operational and public policy matters and have deep subject-matter expertise in oil, natural gas, power, and utilities matters. KBIS established the Advisory Board in 2018.
H. MOH. ZEN, MBA, MSc, PhD - EXECUTIVE ADVISOR
Dr. Zen is the CTO of ENERPROGROUP LLC (Houston, TX, U.S.A.) with 22+ years of international experience from North America, Europe, Scandinavia, China to South East Asia. He is the Chief Engineer with extensive expertise in a variety of reservoir studies and FDP projects covering both mature brown- and green-fields in the US, UK, China, Indonesia and Norway. Dr. Zen has deep experiences in primary, secondary and also tertiary recovery for clastic reservoirs, as well as for carbonates. Highly proficient in both conventional reservoir engineering and dynamic reservoir simulation (black oil, compositional and also thermal). In addition to core expertise, Dr. Zen has participated in several Production Enhancement initiatives involving well stimulation, lift optimization and revitalization of mature fields. Dr. Zen received his PhD (Petroleum Engineering) from Heriot-Watt University, UK, an MSc (Petroleum Engineering) from Norwegian Institute of Technology, Norway; and an MBA (Engineering Business Management) from The University of Manchester, UK.
RIZVI SHIHAB, MSc - EXECUTIVE ADVISOR
Mr. Shihab is the COO of ENERPROGROUP LLC. Based on Houston, TX, U.S.A., he spent years in leadership and technical petroleum engineering roles in different business units at Saudi Aramco, PSI and Medco E&P. He is a progressive thinking technocrat with an eye on a wide spectrum of specialty chemicals and surfactant additives (for Enhanced Oil Recovery) solutions for global oil & gas industry. Mr. Shihab is a chemical manufacturing expert, excelled in facilitating the implementation of an integral part of the lifecycle asset management process through the use of simulation techniques (using chemical surfactant, polymer and acids) to develop/optimize production schedules for various scenarios. He has led international cross-functional teams with a focus on new chemical solution development, innovation for growth and EOR process and quality improvements as well as international chemical manufacturing and distribution. Mr. Shihab holds a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering and a Master's in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, U.S.A.
